Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to Jellyfin
Confirm Jellyfin is running and open the same server URL from another device on the network. Check the IP address, port and protocol. If your server is 192.168.0.22 on Jellyfin’s usual HTTP port, for example, the address would be http://192.168.0.22:8096.
Discovery finds nothing
Discovery depends on local network communication. VLANs, guest Wi-Fi, client isolation and firewall rules can prevent discovery. Enter the server URL manually when necessary.
Login works in a browser but not MediaHarbour
Verify you selected the same server and base URL. Try Quick Connect. If credentials or tokens have changed, sign in again to create a fresh MediaHarbour session.
A file will not play
Try another quality setting so Jellyfin can transcode it. Confirm the file plays through Jellyfin elsewhere and inspect the Jellyfin server logs for playback/transcoding errors.
IPTV is empty
Open IPTV Sources and load the playlist. If using your own M3U, confirm the URL is reachable and returns a valid playlist. IPTV stream availability is controlled by the source, not MediaHarbour.
Still stuck?
Visit Support with the MediaHarbour version, Apple TV model/tvOS version, Jellyfin version if applicable, and a short description of what happened. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
